Children's book illustration
In 2021 I was given the chance to illustrate a children's book comissioned by the Faculty of Medicine of Rijeka's University. The book was part of a project focused on teaching kids about genetics, the diversity between human beings and equality. It also included designing three puzzles, which I also worked on alongside Maja Mrak. Take a look at some of the final illustrations below!
It was such a nice project to work on as it gave me a lot of freedom playing around with the characters, the layout of every page and finding the right visual style. To see how it all came together, check out some of the sketches of the process below. I still really like some of them!

Nice to meet you! My name is Alberto Andrés.
These are some of the projects I have worked on for the last 5 years. Some are work for clients and some are collaborative with friends. Every one of them has led me to develop new skills and to discover new sides of myself, which is scary and exciting at the same time… and also kind of addictive. Oh well!
